I met a lady in Phoenix from a dating site. Pretty, smart, good job. Turned out she "lived" less than 2 miles from my apartment. Finally visited her after talking a long time. Speed pipe on her bedside table the size of a cue ball, her photo was at LEAST 30 years old, no car and she lived at the office at the company she worked for. She was smart, if you ignore she can't keep a home, smokes her paycheck in speed, loses her car to a "deal", etc. I'm scared to even meet anyone from online and seriously doubt that anyone will be convincing enough for me to even believe again. Especially people that apparently live their LIVES online. Amazingly, some people will tell 100 lies and I guess just expect you to forget everything they said. I can top that. When someone posts a photo of themselves from OVER 10 years ago, you meet them, they can barely walk, and they are OBVIOUSLY much older than they have told you. Why, if your planning to meet someone on here, would you post a photo so old? It's just ethically WRONG. HELLO !!!!! I am sure it has happened to all daters online. It is scarey, okay it's just down right FRIGHTENING. Get your ethics in line if your going to date online. Nothing worse than meeting someone who is old enough to be your father. |

Must be an older person thing (I said older not OLD so don't go jumping me for it!). I've had no bad encounters of people who've flat out lied to me about stuff. Don't get me wrong, I've met up with people who haven't shared everything that I would have liked to of know... like having spent 2 years in a mental institution and just got released 2 months prior to our meet. Talk about scary! But for the most part it's been pretty good. I certainly don't try to make myself out to be something I'm not. Most of the time I'm as straight forward as they come.

online... because they don't have to be accountable for their claims?????  I knew a guy who was Mr. smooth sweetheart in the forums and everybody loved him!! He also was a hot girl(multiple identity) in the sex and dating and posted really sexy stories to get the other girls to share their hot stories!!( and had guys lusting after him!!) Now thats the kind of people I want to date!!  SIKE....  Dont think anyone can top that..... |

a woman who I talked with for several weeks ( no photo) finally agreed to send me one. before I agreed to meet with her. She said it would be a "special' one . I asked what is special? . She said I would see.
When it came to my email I looked and was just stunned.. she was naked.. in a claw foot bath tub, no water and for a 5'4' "average woman? well the reason for no water is that there was no room for it she had to weigh well over 300 lbs. And people wonder why I have an adversion to overweight women.. I have been ruined & blinded for life ! |

This is me. This is who and what I am. I have no need nor any desire to "toot my own horn". Many people have met me face-to-face, and they will be happy to tell you that I am exactly as I portray myself to be, right down to the photos.
I believe many people tend to make assumptions or have preconceived notions about some people, only to find out when they meet them in person that those assumptions were completely off the mark. I see no point in trying to lie about myself or pump myself up. What does it accomplish for anybody? The truth will unfold for all to see in due time, and the person who lies about themselves will be outed for the peckerhead they are. They're only shooting themselves in the foot. |
