compete how????? they earn far less than we would Guess I just get tired of hearing all the complaints about how illegals (this/that). Important fact, some are are willing to work for less, some work in deplorable conditions, but they work. I work for a living and will have to do it for the rest of my life (unnless I win the lotto but then again I don't play). I see things rather simply. If I am qualified for a particular job, I go after it. If it means I have to make less to start, then so be it, as I am sure of my qualifications. But what I will not do is sit on the sidelines (speaking only for myself) complaining about how this person or that person got the job over me. I cannot see the logic in not trying or accepting defeat without attempting to remedy the situation. is anyone else having problems with the forums updating????? you are very right....but we can't compete with them because most americans want more money. not that they all file taxes anyway....i can think of several that don't. they are either paid under the table or they don't file when given a 1099. but again....alot do pay taxes. sorry....that was my rant after work today lol. i had to deal with someone that didn't pay taxes for 2007-2008 and now getting audited and wanted me to regather all of his info for taxes |

Most people feel they are worth more (wages) or that the jobs available are demeaning or meaningless. (If I want to eat I will do what it takes) Businesses in general are competitive, why shouldn't the employees remain competitive instead of complacent. |

As I can respect everyone's personal opinion whether I agree with it or not. But to sit back and blame the illegals for others being unemployed bothers me. First thing to do is remove that self entitlement attitude, work for what you want and live amongst our means, but for goodness sake stop pointing fingers while sitting down and watching from the sidelines.
