Abracadabra has run out of steam
no stories to write
nothing to dream
his spirit’s been murdered by someone who’s mean
in a nightmarish fable that’s grossly obscene

RainbowSlider slipped off of his of bow
reappeared as a trout in another plateau
he’s a sucker for lollipops with swirls aglow
and he’s always quite glad to return your “hello”

Katie’s the twin of the Twilight Zone
the place that’s between the things that are known
she’s ethereally worldly like the spiritual foam
of a quantum mechanical harmonic tone

Styx is my baby who loves to be bound
in erotic positions that aren’t well renowned
she laughs, and she cries, with adorable sound
that woman’s a star who’s talent’s profound

Lisa’s a peach who changed to a ‘sliky’
she starts all those threads with topics so tricky
when people respond they just post a quickie
and no one will know that she plays with my hickey

Chris is the bro who won Twilight’s heart
they knew it was love right from the start
Cupid had shot them both with his dart
and now their love is an burgeoning art

Tom’s the fellow who tells all the jokes
of immoral women and promiscuous blokes
but allow me to warn the ingenuous folks
that most of his stories are likely a hoax

like nuggets of color from a rainbow of sweet
jellybean baby’s a pearl to meet

Alada’s a dreamer who loves a great tale
of valiant adventurers who set out to sail
she seeks the great magic of a sorcerer’s pen
to create a new fable of mystical Zen
but the playwright she seeks no longer exists
his talents have left him like ethereal mists
his spirit has fallen in an endless abyss
no way to retrieve it the demons insist

I've heard that muses are hanging out, all together, just around the
corner... taking a break.

I am still a dreamer, and I am still waiting for that love of epic
proportions and the dashing prince... and I refuse to think that it no
longer exists, as I refuse not to read your prose and verses, ever
again.

I appreciate the acknowledgement of my previous work and I am very
honored by the request for a new story. However, in addition to not
being in the most creative mood at the moment, I’m also pressed for
time. So while I very much appreciate the request I’m afraid it’s just
impossible at this particular point in time.

It may seem to be effortless to you, but from my perspective things
appear a little differnet. (ha ha)

Although, it is lot easier to do when I’m bubbling over with creativity
which just isn’t happening at the moment. If that should happen to
change perhaps I will be motivated to create a new fantasy.

I do thank you very much for requesting a new story though. It feels
good to be acknowledged. I wish I could accommodate your desires, but
right now that’s just not possible.
