I think the word "us" in both verses is interesting.

Jesus gave up His life because He knew that's what God had in mind for
Him. He knew what His purpose was here on this earth, and it certainly
wasn't to be that of a martyr.

genesis has 3 different authors , there are other problems to for
example the days in one its like he makes man on the 6th day one 2nd
day ... the concept of time and what a day is before time is made... the
fact that he brings animals for adam to decide a mate from, and
therefore women is put on that same scale, theres the fact there are a
"them" vs making man and then women from mans rib, gen 1 and 2 creation
myths are different but society readiliy accepts gen 2 it backs up
patriarchy

Back in those days it was very common to belief that were many gods.

Here's my answer.

Holy water is just a symbolic religous tradition. The only thing that
makes the water 'holy' is the fact that some priest or preacher is using
it for a holy ceremony.

So in reality it is just water that some dude waved his hand over and
perhaps breathed on?

Then why call it holy?

and the tree of good and evil. Evidently they were two separate trees.
When in the text the Serpent says you will not surely die. Then they
were run out before they could eat from the tree of life. I mean the
Serpent gives you the impression that they would become as gods. The
Serpent mentions more than one god. What would have happened if they had
ate from the tree of life first before eating from the tree of good and
evil?

Do you think that anyone would willingly endure the horrible suffering
He went through on the cross to be remembered as a martry, as a man who
"died for his beliefs?" He had a specific purpose when God sent Him to
this Earth, and that was to shed His blood so that mankind would be
saved from its sins.

He continued to "pee off" the Romans and the Jews because He knew that
was all part of God's plan. He knew His life on this earth was nearing
its end.

Jesus Christ, the man, did not want to endure this suffering; He did not
want to die. He even asked God, "Father, why hast thou forsaken Me?" He
understood His death was inevitable; he knew it was His destiny from the
time he was a child.

What Jesus Christ endured on that cross and what happened after that
goes far beyond someone simply "giving up their life for their beliefs."

It's just a symbol
