I worked at a Library through college. It was pretty good. There are always some things you dislike, like when the AC AND the Elevator goes out, in the Middle of August, and you need to go shelve books on the 11th floor. That was a good example of heat rising for your Science Majors.... But it was overall a good job, especially when you needed to get school work done.

The very first job I got out of college.

It was a company who supplied wiring harnesses to General Motors and I was the inventory clerk and customs administrator, getting audited by Revenue Canada.

It was the only job I ever had that kept me hopping the entire day.

Hummm hate to say but when I was a Bartender/ Ass Mgr I loved being around people since I love to talk it was the right place for me. Sure at times the ones that got drunk got on my nerves but... I worked in a smaller bar where you actually got to know others as well. Many times several would get together for cook outs and outings at the lake ect... more family then anything.bigsmile

Was a police officer at one time in my life(few years back). I changed from that, because it didn't pay enough for the risks involved. "Frisk'em Dano!!!oops "sorry mam"!

When I owned my professional dog grooming shop in Orlando...I was fortunate enough to garner the Walt Disney World & Universal Studios accounts... The animal trainer would sometimes bring in exotic critters just to socialize them...my fave was a baby orangutan named Jethro...smitten

I enjoyed being a radio deejay. The hours were a bit f*cked up, and the pay sucked, but the perks were great.

I love, love, love being a kinesiologist/natural medicines practitioner SO much! GREAT work.

AND...

Being a baker was still the very finest! The graveyard shift is majik(!!!): the world is asleep, it's so quiet, it is SUCH an art ... and bread and desserts don't EVER talk and whine.

My lost calling is marine zoology though ...

I also worked at a library through college. I loved it for the most part. Though, when I was trying to get my own work done, rather than work, people would always come up to ask me to help with something.

Probably one of my very first jobs as a counselor at a horseback riding camp.

I also loved working at the library through college.

My job now is pretty good, too. I'm a project coordinator for a telecommunications company and get to work with people all over the world. Then again... I have to work with crazy sales people and that can be difficult.
