Four people arrested in a raid involving tax evasion and weapons charges appeared in federal court Friday afternoon. Authoritites say the men are suspected of being leaders of an anti-government movement called Soverign Movement.

The FBI tells Eyewitness News that this raid goes beyond just Las Vegas. Federal agents raided seven different locations in Nevada, Idaho and also Arizona and this was the result of a three-year investigation.

The scene in a neighborhood near Charleston and Cimarron was chaotic Thursday morning as federal agents from the FBi and ATF targeted a home on Gunther Circle and began removing items, including guns.

Neighbors who witnessed the scene say they saw agents pull as many as 40 weapons from the home. The bomb squad was also called to the neighborhood and neighbors say items were loaded into a cylinder and taken away.

"Blasting caps and whatever they had they loaded that and took it out," said Jim Ashness, neighbor.

Ashness describes his neighbor, Harold Call, who was arrested at the home, as a quiet character. An unsealed indictment shows Call charged with numerous counts of illegally possessing an unregistered machine gun. Authorities allege that Call is one of the leaders of the Nevada Lawmen Group for Public Awareness, a group that is associated with the Sovereign Movement group.

At least three other people were also arrested. They are identified as Jan Alan Lindsey, who is a retired FBI agent and alleged to also be a leader of Nevada Lawmen Group for Public Awareness, Samuel Davis, who is allegedly the national leader of the Soverign Movement and Shawn Rice. Lindsey is charged various counts of income tax evasion, Davis and Rice are facing money laundering charges.

"Alleged" is the key here.

They can tell us anything they want, and we won't be able to check them.

They can take any soccer mom, arrest her and say she had confessed to any dirty thing they wish, and then they say they have confiscated a "weapons cache".

Right.

nogames, the thing that caught my eye was the fact that these were groups that were getting ready for crap to hit the fan. my point to this is that if crap does hit the fan at some point, no one will be able to stop the government.

Federal agents this and federal agents that.

They said... they reported... they did...

Those are exactly same people that run Federal Reserve and Social Security, Blackwater and Haliburton, Baxter, etc.

They all are agents of the federal government. They have no interests of the people in mind. Anyone they don't like, they "say" the confiscate a "cashe" from. They call you an enemy of the state and then everybody else turns against you.

Same approach was tried by Hitler and Stalin, Mussolini and Hugo Chaves, Putin and Saddam. It works every time.

i wish there was a way that we would all stand up together and let the government know we won't stand it instead of them being able to pick us off one by one while everybody else just stands on the side watching and being glad that it wasn't them. oh it'll be them at some point but they won't believe it till they have a boot pressing their face into the ground. then they will think to theirselves, "hmmm, maybe we should have done something" too late at that point. we can get 2 million people to show up for an inauguration but we can't get anyone to show up when it has something to do with stopping the government from getting too big.

That's how arrests work. Alleged. Then innocent until proven guilty.
That's how the system works. One can check the facts.

they were under investigation for 3 years. An unsealed indictment shows Call charged with numerous counts of illegally possessing an unregistered machine gun. Lindsey is charged various counts of income tax evasion, Davis and Rice are facing money laundering charges. they have to have evidence for these things to convict. it wasn't like they just busted into someone house for no reason.

You've been listening to too much of the Jeff Rense Program. It's done with something called 'ballots', NOT machine guns and explosives a la Timothy McVeigh and Terry Nichols.
