i wish there was a way that we would all stand up together and let the government know we won't stand it instead of them being able to pick us off one by one while everybody else just stands on the side watching and being glad that it wasn't them. oh it'll be them at some point but they won't believe it till they have a boot pressing their face into the ground. then they will think to theirselves, "hmmm, maybe we should have done something" too late at that point. we can get 2 million people to show up for an inauguration but we can't get anyone to show up when it has something to do with stopping the government from getting too big. But, just so happens to be Obamas old time buddy, Ayers. No, what you have here is a case of 'Rich Man's Law', where privilege trumps morality. Ayers _should_ have taken the fall, but because he came from a very wealthy family, he walked on technicalities. Further, checkbook diplomacy got him back into Chicago's High Society. Palin et al were just looking for leftist radical association on Obama's part to counterbalance their own support for right-wing radicals and because the polls showed they needed _something_, they did what latter day Republicans always do when they're behind- they try to sidetrack the debate from the issues with innuendo of wrong-doing on the part of anyone their opponent has ever even talked to.
