Been without water for a month. I am considering just throwing away the clothes, dishes and getting a new commode. Just wonder if anyone knew of some products that really do the job.

A month!........yikes!

I like The Works. The toilet bowl kind. Stronggggg stuff. Be careful mixing cleansers though, you'll be at the ER in no time.

Clothes, just the regular stuff will clean 'em, no big deal......unless ya got mold growing somewhere.

Use bleach in the water for the dishes.

Hey, thanks. I seen The Works at Walmart. A friend was telling me that straight vinegar will take away fiberglass resin off the bottom of the bath tub. I have to do the refrigerator, too. Do you know of anything for refrigerator stains?

Lol, Mark. I screwed up the well pump and just got it fixed. It would be cool to have city water. I live so far in the boonies you would need a real good GPS tracker to find my place.

I hear that. While working at Tyson's Foods I mixed chlorine and acid. Sure will clear a building fast. Someone said it was like homemade mustard gas.

Good ole' bleach works for most anything. Mix it with hot water and go to town. Scrub a dub dub.

Bleach worked great for the toilet. It is white now. I used The Works and a bleach tablet. I used a whole gallon of white vinegar on the bottom of the bathtub and it took out the fiberglass resin left over from taking showers. But oh my I could smell vinegar for the rest of the night and it sure took my breath away. From personal experience I would suggest using a mask when working with pure vinegar. I was using pure ammonia on the refrigerator and it did was take my breath away. Vinegar is great for finding open areas in your skin that you may not be aware of. An additive benefit I noticed when using the vinegar to clean the tub is when I took the rag out of the drain. I have never seen it drain that fast before. It worked better than liquid plumber for me. Evidently the fiberglass resin went all the way to the septic tank because now my washing machine drain drains better now. But for the fiberglass walls above the tub this spray bottle of soft scrub worked better than the vinegar. I liked using the soft scrub on the crisper and glass plate above it. It took a scrubbing brush and some green pads, too for me but it is clean now which makes me happy.

Do you have a $ Tree there? They have a great cleaner called Awesome or sometimes Amazing. And they are accurately named. They're only a dollar a bottle. And the cleaner dissolves most stains--like ink, spices like Turmeric, coolaid, strawberries, etc. I use it on my countertops, in my refrigerator, bathroom, etc. You can actually see the stains dissolve and then you can wipe them away--even stains that you've scrubbed and they won't come up. I use Turmeric a lot in my cooking and it stains my dishes, counters, and sink. But Awesome gets it right up.

Some $ Generals carry it too.

I will have to keep an eye out for that product. We don't have a Dollar General or a Dollar Tree.
