Do you prefer Gran Turismo or Forza? I have both actually, like the Ps3 better since my older 360 didn't come with the hdmi connection and has no blu-ray player, the newer 360's have hdmi now but still no blu-ray, as far as graphics go they're pretty close. I will say my 360 has died and been sent off twice, my ps3 has never died in well over a year now.

Like Canary said, at this point it really comes down to whatever console-exclusive games you want.
My 1st Xbox 360 died twice, the second time it died, was on my birthday, and not wanting to go the rest of my birthday without being able to play, I just went out and bought a new one. Haven't had a problem with the new one, and it is well over one year old now. I almost picked up a PS3, but just when I was about to, Sony lost the F1 license, and Codemasters picked it up, so now there really aren't any PS3-exclusive games that interest me. |

I know a few people that had the same problem with the XBOX360 burning up on them. They went and got PS3s and have had no problems. I guess they supposedly fixed the overheating glitch recently though.

yeah, only a handful of exclusive titles for either one now, I love both Forza and GT so I wound up with both, I guess Metal Gear is supposed to be pretty cool, but then you have Halo so.......

Definitely 360. Cause 360 has the better library of games.

I have both. Since I can put a lot on the PS3 without having to mod it, my vote goes to the PS3. Plus there's that whole Red Ring of Death thing with the 360.

There's a tough choice here on which one you would rather pick and or choose etc.
Depends on the games you like the most and if you rather have free online game play or pay a yearly or monthly fee. If you rather pay a monthly or yearly fee your choice is XBox 360 and XBL. If you choose Free .. your choice is Sony PS3 and the PSN network, sure not everything is 100% free but you can upgrade stuff on your games rosters and all for little money but in the end the choice is your's. I would go with a PS3, but that's up to you. |

On the new 360s the Red Ring of Death issue has been solved. Even if yours gets it, you have an extended 3 year warranty for RROD. You have to pay for XBox Live but theres more gamers on there than on Ps3. Ps3 has free internet but less gamers. Xbox 360 has the better game selection but the Ps3 is probably better if youre a casual gamer and use your console for more of a home theater type thing than an actual gaming rig.
I have both and my Ps3 collects dust. I'm prolly about to pawn the piece of ****. My xbox kicks its ass, and even though I have to practically beat my xbox to get it to read a cd, I like playing it better. |

I have a 360 and love the games Oblivion and Fable 2, yet for some reason I get a headache after 30 minutes. It is frustrating for these games require many hours to play.
So I do 30 minute sessions every 2 or 3 days. A slow process I just find the game so darn expensive! $60 dollars for a game and sometimes higher. You buy two games and that is money to feed your self for a whole week at home Well in the long run I guess both consoles are great. I would just go to a store and try both out if they offer it and see which one you enjoy. I want to buy next NBA basketball the newest one. I love watching basketball and now I want to be a star in it one day |

I will say this much as well, forgot to mention it previusly but EVERY single old Ps2 game I've tried works with my Ps3, even if you don't already have a Ps2 it's still relelvant since you can buy from both libraries, I've kept my original Xbox solely so I can still play some of my older games that won't work on my 360. As far as which one has more of a catalog is concerned, they're identical except for the console exclusives, so neither one really has more games than the other unless the 360 has more exclusive/propietary titles compared to the Ps3, (mayb it does, I honestly don't know) I'd still go Ps3 for the Blu-Ray anyway, plus you don't have to pay for xboxlive if you want to play people online, I play Burnout3 online all the time on my Ps3 and it costs a donut. (free) I still like my 360 though, I'd probably play it more if I had the hdmi version, it's just not as detailed/crisp as my Ps3 is, both are amazing compared to where we were at with 8 and 16 bit consoles though.
edit: forgot to mention the Ps3 does Bluetooth, not sure if the 360 does now or not, I know my older one doesn't. |

I hate my PC too, it makes me sit inside as well. yes, they make you sit inside, they grab hold of you, tie you to a chair, and FORCE you to play games, you have absolutely No say in the matter, once you buy one you're assimilated....damn bro, they're going to come after you now, you let the secret out!!!11 What brand of pc do you have? I need to steer clear of it since mine lets me come and go as I please. |

I have a 360 and love the games Oblivion and Fable 2, yet for some reason I get a headache after 30 minutes. It is frustrating for these games require many hours to play. When I was a kid, I used to experience stomach cramps if I played video games too long. The danger sign was when my cheeks started to feel hot and I'd begin to feel disoriented. The problem went away several years ago for reasons unexplainable. |

I have to vote for PS3 again. Sorry, but after getting DosBox to run successfully on the PS3 (under YDL 6.0) I just regained access to a ton of software that was sitting on the shelf collecting dust that I originally bought for use on a 486. You just can't do that with the 360.
