The Federal Reserve is a quasi-public (government entity with private components) banking system. It is not the Centralized banking system used by the Communist govs. Although they may have copied parts of it, as have most govs around the globe. The reason for them copying it is because it is one of the soundest most successful systems in the world. I doubt you have any real understanding of its complexities.



6. Centralisation of the means of communication and transport in the hands of the State.

Never talked about this but many countries have shown great succes in this area. I wouldnt mind the US enacting some kind of gov rail sytem. Most I know of are extremely successful.

Never talked about this either, but the US during WWII did direct factories to produce military needed equipment first, and have reserved the authority to do so again.

I'm with Texas on this, The FG has overstepped its bounds long ago. This goes back to FDR, or you could even go as far back as the 16th Amendment (with the Federal income tax). Unfortunately what we are seeing from Obama is nothing new. I mean, we've been watching our liberties erode over the past 70 years.

My biggest gripe with Bush was that he laid the groundworks for this. Everything Obama is doing now (with the exception of a few pet projects) is exactly what Bush would have done before.
