No pocket in PJs...but am texting my daughter (college out of state) back and forth so yeah, I confess it's close at hand.

Vibrating is another topic entirely.

Usually have it with me. Which is weird since I can't answer it at work. Though the camera has come in useful at times.

I had the guts from mine surgically incorporated into my brain so I never forget it. Not really, but I never forget it. I have a 5-item checklist I do EVERY TIME I walk out the door: smokes, lighter, keys, phone, wallet...in that order. But if the occasional forgetting does happen and I'm more than a mile away, to hell with the phone, unless I'm going to be gone for a long while.

do you go back to get it, or do you realize it's not like an umbilical cord and no one here at Mingle is that important? If you are though, they'll call back!
don't they have a "no cellphone left behind act"?

I haven't had service (about 1 1/2 wks) on my phone on PURPOSE! my ex-boyfriend (we have been BROKEN up since JANUARY 08) keeps hacking into my phone, getting my security code and listening to my voicemails UGH! soooo I decided I was going to subscribe with ANOTHER wireless provider.... no service for about a week and a half? YAHOO my boss can't send me TEXT messages all DAMN day either HAHAHAHAHA! I LOVE THAT!

I go get it in case I get a call from the school about my child being rushed to the hospital again. Unfortunately, I do not like cell phones, they make me way to easily accessible, but it is now my albatross. tears sad2

Ive done this before and left it at home. But then the what if's come into play. What if I get stranded on the side of the road? What if I need to phone 911? What if a huge hairy snaggletooth dinosaur gets in my way and I need to call the cops??? whaaaaaaaaaaaat if????scared

Essentially I think the what if's kill me before lack of cell phone shocked

The only reason I really carry it is for emergency purposes. I won't answer it if I'm driving or working, anyway. That phone is for MY convenience, not everybody else's. I'M the one paying the bill.
