Nothing like a plate of liver and onions with fried potatoes on the side. Yum! But it has to be fresh liver, not frozen then thawed. I don't know it's just a thing I have. lol

Mom used to cook it well-done and I hated it. I like it now that I cook it myself. Trick is to cook it to the same doneness as you lie your steak, add onions and even peppers if you want them.

I LOVE liver and onions...the best are at a place called " The Golden Steer "...in Forest Park...the waittress is so fuggin' hot !...gulp !!
