Are You....Single by Choice, or Circumstance?

I think it's a little of both.

I've chosen not to compromise my standards, not to lose sight of what's important to me, what I want in a relationship. It seems that I have considerable access to people who are wholly incompatible with me.

The circumstantial part comes in because it's difficult for me to believe there really aren't ANY viable prospects out there -- I see this as a circumstance of geography, to a large extent, as well as a dearth of constructive connections. Those things can be changed though.

single by circumstance. wasn't expecting to be. Oh well, you deal with it and move on. lol

A bit of both, but mainly choice. I choose to be alone and happy rather than being part of a miserable couple. Still, there's always that chance of being struck by lightning or winning lotto.

circumstance brought me to the point of being single, but i choose to stay single. i mean... i live in dorms... it's not hard to go find someone and say hey... me, you, we're dating, but i want something good, and that takes patience, so i now choose to be single until that spark comes along

Choice.

I guess both. I chose to leave my husband. And, I have not found anyone else.

I guess mine was one of mutual agreement, her and her boyfriend thought it would be best, LOL.

Must say a little of both but.... more due to the choices I make within my life. I do tend to keep to my self most of the time and enjoy the solitude as well.

Circumstance I will have to say... But then those circumstances look like they will be changing ...

first it was by choice, then it was by circumstance, and now it is by choice and circumstance... i COULD have someone... but I guess I am too picky now.
