Sometimes. It depends upon the setting it is in and if the people are engaging and polite or if they are rude and standoffish.

Normally I'm sociable and outgoing but everyonce in a while I find myself just wanting to get away from the people around me for no apparrent reason. Like, yesterday I was standing in line at the check-out and got so wierded out that I just set down what I was gonna' get and walked out of there.

no. if they try to make me feel uncomfortable, i'll pick out their leader, and ask them who are they to say anything to me, and mind their own business, in a dead stare.

I find myself ...self aware when I blow on the salad and get burned by the soup....but sometimes I am antimidated by my own company.

If the strangers are operations managers or accounants - no.
If the strangers are sales rep's or strippers - yes. roco |

if you feel real hostility, stare back at them for a prolonged time, and they'll either leave you alone and leave themselves, or come up and talk to you, then you can make nice.
