I got a job a Restaurant, I started that night. I came in the waitress that was training me was argued with someone else. The person training mke was in the bathroom crying her eyes out. I never went back after that night, It was an Italian Restaurant. I have never worked someplace so unprofessional before.

The job itself wasn't all that horrible, but the people were. It was an office full of people who thought college was silly and didn't understand my need to finish school.

You might've intimidated them. They probably assumed you were better than them...and the probably assumed right. (lol)

I had worked it out where I would take shorter lunches twice a week so that I could leave 15 minutes early in the evening to make it to class on time. Some people really had an issue with it.

The worst job I ever had was between jobs......for 2 weeks I pulled mobile home axles from under established mobile homes. The people would sell this company their weels and axles and be given a contract to use a brand new set if they ever wanted to move their home. I was the guy to go and remove the old sets.

Anyone ever been under a moblie home that's been in the same spot for many years??????

McDonald's.

Second was bailiff's office for a Muni Court. The folks were such azzholes. Plus one of my co-workers was the aunt of the woman my ex stepped out in me with, impregnanted, and was living with during my divorce. That was lovely, made lovelier by the fact that she is a brash, lying, no class biotch. The aunt/co-worker that is.

Roustabout on a workover oil rig in Louisiana, 1977. The work wasn't that bad but to call my co-workers alcoholic rednecks would have been a compliment. I distinguished them by the number of or shade of green/black thier teeth were. Filthy, foulmouthed, tobacco spittin', MD-2020 for lunch drinkin' dullards who would have loved to upgrade to a trailer. Whose wives were seldom over 15 and already had no teeth and 5 kids.
