I heard a while back that something like 80% of Americans don't have one. Which i found quite surprising.
Even if i had no intention of going abroad i would have a passport anyway, just in case. Do 80% of Americans have no desire to go abroad ever? Why is that? |

Now you need one to go to Canada or Mexico. If you ever might need to leave our borders it is required and they take about 6-8 weeks to get.

i dont have one. the odds of me having the $$ to go anywhere out of the us are slim despite my immense desire to do so.. if/when the time comes that i could go i would get one, but untill then.. it will remain on my "list of things to do one day" list

I got one just recently. I was supposed to go to Cambodia back in January but the trip got postponed till June. It will be the first trip out of the country for me and hopefully not my last. I'd love to travel abroad.

I had to get a new one. Th eone I had was so old and expired. My kid and I wanted to go to Europe this past summer, but I broke my leg.
 Maybe next year!!
