i've lived here for 42 years and i haven't seen a live moose either (except at the zoo).

my dad was a time keeper for the Penticton Knights I got sooooooooooooooo sick of hockey now that I am an adult I dont have to watch it !! oh!! an toques make my head ITCH!!

Grew up in Dallas with parents from Illinois and Michigan. Lived in Seattle area for last twelve years and often am mistaken for Canadian....hell if I know why. That being said, I have never met a Canadian I didn't like and I love, love, love Vancouver and Kits beach.
