He is pretty much going to do what he is going to do right now. If he is liking it then that is that.
You might advise him at some tactful point that his perception of his female companion may change as he grows older. And just leave it at that. |

admittedly it seems a bit odd to me.. but noting a number of other factors that could be present....quite doable
at the moment however I am lacking the ability to fully articulate that ideal |

The age difference is no factor these days becuase Love is stronger than any other factor in the universe and compatibility, not age determines if happiness between 2 people is possible,or just a fleeting fancy!

Granted, you're his mum, but he is a legal adult (at least, agewise), and is capable of making his own decisions. We've all been that age, and we all know we weren't the brightest crayons in the box all the time, so you'll just have to take it with a grain of salt and ride it out. Based on what I've seen of these things before, they generally don't last all that long.
But what do I know? |

A cougar? lol It won't last and I think you know that.. she wants a younger guy for the thrill probably. And he may or may not be enjoying himself also. I know when I was that age it was a challenge to get an "older" woman...

My 22 yr. old son is dating a 35 yr. old women. I think that's way to old I can see a few yrs. But my God she was graduating high school when he was starting kindergarten. My 21 yr old son lives with his 37 yr old girlfriend and 2 of her children. She has a daughter that is only 3 yrs younger than my son. I WAS not happy about this at all when the first started dating. But you hve to let your kids make their own mistakes and learn from them. The one good thing that has come out of this, btw they have been dating now for 2 yrs, it has made my son mature a little bit. Just sit back and let it happen.............sometimes age means absolutely nothing but a number |
