Generally don't look at anyone more than 10 years younger. Want to have some things in common to talk about.

My 22 yr. old son is dating a 35 yr. old women. I think that's way to old I can see a few yrs. But my God she was graduating high school when he was starting kindergarten.

Ok I have to side with you on this one. I just divorced a women that was 8 years younger then I am. This difference caused a lot of problems. And ended are marriage. Yes I married her young(she was 20). She wanted to party and make a fool of herself. I did not. I had been there done that, and had no want to do it again.
The diffences in life experiance is too much to try to find a middle. Unless each respects the other for who they are and what they already know. Be it more or less then the other. Still understand it. Then it might work.
I say be worried!

The only thing I can say is that women wanted to be able to date younger men and not have people complain about it. I guess we didn't think about what we were going to think when that older woman happens to date our son!! I guess we can't have it both ways!!
The thing is we can not control our children, we have to let them live their own lives. We might think we know whats best for them but in the end it is THEIR lives. We just have to sit back and let them go..if they need advice, they will ask for it.
If you are dating someone that much older, how can you honestly say "don't do as I do BUT do as I say?" I always hated when my parents did things like that. Let your son make his own decisions and you be there IF and when he needs a friend to talk to. Good luck flowerforyou

Oh Geez...I plead the 5th..

But, I will say....its NOT so much the age,
but, the maturity..

Some people NEVER grow up, no matter what age,
and some people, just have a better head on their shoulders...

what does age have to do with anything.. as long as they are old enough and now what they want in their own lives I dont see that it matters.
