I like to look at a person's profile to put a name to face. The one I just looked at said it was a woman, age 32. Um, if she's 32, then I get to be 21 again. ? F-reaky!
 Who does that, everyone???  I know most of you are SO much more versed at this internet thing than I am, probably laughing and saying "Welcome to Oz". Never have even met one person from the internet, except for Craigs List purchases. Reminded me of Lex' latest story. K, now I'm worried.

I am who I say I am...no need for me to lie...I am 46 and I like me...and I have met people from here as well and I find them for the most part honest...but then again I chat with them for a while before I will agree to meet...

I was told I actually look exactly like my photos both on web cam and in live person.

It's hard to disguise myself. I couldn't NOT be me, even if I wanted to. *sigh*
I have only met a couple of people out of the hundred or so I have met from online, be deceptive about how they look. |

That is why I always say Webcam Webcam people then you know exactly what you are getting.
I won't go on a first meet without at least one webcam session.. I also will take a shot and print it from that session. If they don't look like that well..then there is no first meet let alone anything else. |

I've been told I was lying about my age....that I had to be much younger. Very nice compliment, but.....why would I say I'm older?

An excellent plan. Won't meet anyone until we have talked on the phone and web-cammed with them. Have learned from experience it is better to be cautious then sorry. |

If I was going to be deceptive, I would have picked someone better looking than this to put up as my picture.

Same, why lie? Don't get it at all. Guess once a liar. always a liar, ugghhh! Not even really thinking about dating yet, just trying to chat and come out of a self imposed period of isolation. Do want to chat w/ genuine sorts though, no matter the gender. Not trying to be naive. I'm anything but. I've expected as much. Still, this woman has to be 20 years older than the profile! Just sad, as regards my perhaps wanting to take it further w/ anyone at some pt. |
