Just found out I may not have a job tommorow morning,took a vacation day to go to my aunts funeral and found out from a co worker that they laid off everyone who started in 08,I did.
 anyone else in this scary boat?

I am so sorry to hear this, I am sure there are going to be many more of them before it gets better. I am not proud of this with the Dem's in charge right now my job is pretty safe since so many lean towards socialism.
I know that I am just hunkering down and holding on the best I can. Will send up some prayers for you hun...

I've been laid off three or four times before
the first couple of days just take it easy and enjoy the days off (your're getting paid for it with unemployment so the pressure is lessened a bit) then approach finding another job as if it were a job. devote 6 to 8 hours a day to job hunting |

Sorry to hear about this. It's one of the reasons I like working in the food biz, everyone is always hungry. Plus the town I live, is a "fat" town. It's all there is to do here, is eat!

This morning on my way to work, I heard on the radio that the unemployment rate in this country hasn't been this low since 1945!
