i think this crisis is being manufactured so as to forward a "secret" agenda - a 9/11 if you will;

the u.s. government seems to keep mentioning a new world order - a new world order arises out of disorder

methinks that this being a 'conspiracy' might be a wee bit paranoid...what is one of the main laws of physics? every action has an equal and opposite reaction. works the same way in economics. you have surplus years where everyone has plenty, and without the demand for services and goods the supply is reduced accordingly...which leads to a smaller workforce to provide the not-so-desired product. eventually the reactions of the actions taken now will emerge, and hopefully we wind up out of the red and into the black.

just a backwoods countryboy's thoughts...

Being laid off is a real drag. Seems like the people who fair the best finding work are focusing on useing their best job skills and not on finding something that seems to be "their" line of work. Adding additional job skills doesn't hurt; a second language, report writing skills, computer skills, availability to travel, or relocate.

I've been out of work since mid-October. Microsoft and Boeing have announced major lay-offs too, so yeah, it's getting a little scary. But I did finally get an interview scheduled for a great job that I applied for back in December.

Been out of work since March of last year. It doesn't look like its going to get any better any time soon.

I work two jobs and have for the past two years. I am scared to death something will happen to one of my jobs. If I think about it to much I will end up having a panic attack.

I've been unemployed since last March. I live in a small town with very few jobs. Soon as a job becomes available there's a few hundred applyin for it. I've thought of movin somewhere that jobs are more plentiful but that takes money and with no job.....I just keep tellin myself I will find something and I keep sending out the resumes and filling out the apps. I do my utmost not to have a pity party and remember there are plenty of other people in the same boat. There's always someone worse off. Just have to thank God for what I do have and have the faith that something will come along when it's meant to. :thumbsup:
