Yes he did. Especially him being from Lebanon, he went against most. He was a hero of his time, and very intellegent.

I must admit most books I read are purely for entertainment. My favorite author is Anne Rice and my all time favorite book is Interview With A Vampire written by her. I've enjoyed all of her books in the Vampire Chronicles but Lestat will always be my favorite character so therefore....Interview With A Vampiredrinker

I couldn't agree more
Did you read Taltos

Hmmmm... it's kind of hard for me to narrow it down. Anything by Barbara Kingsolver, Rebecca Wells, Fannie Flagg, Phillip Gulley... I turn to these when I want to read feel good stuff about the intricacies/intimacies of love and friendship... although Barbara Kingsolver's depth goes in a little different direction than the others.

When I just want to read something fun, then I read Carl Haiassen and am now being turned on to Tim Dorsey...

Growing up my mom was a librarian at our city library. She has GREAT taste and seems to know how to help a person choose a book... so, it's been a while since I've read a bad one!!

If I could change one thing about Atlas Shrugged it would be Galt's radio speech. It's incredibly long and heavy handed....
