Do you believe those television evangelists who pray and claim to heal people over the television?

How can people be so gullible? I've seen that on the 700 club. I think they should be taken off the air because of that fraud they are perpetrating.

People must send them lots of money because they are on prime time.

I have often wondered the same thing JB.Its mostly old people.The kind that are silly enough to vote for people like Bush.

if there is a response from within a mind, to something from the outside, then there is something that created the attraction, so then something is being taught by the attraction?

cause and effect with no beginning or no ending, as can one learn the power of deception, less it has tasted of deception?

can any human be decieved less there be one's called to decieve many?

a human be as a perfect recipe of perfect awareness in the making, each having many ingredients poured into it's mind, all things needing BOTH good and bad, each a few lies, each a few truths, each a little salt, each a little sugar, each a little pain, each a little pleasure, each a little vinegar, each a little spice, but in the end, after the recipe be all prepared, it is placed in the oven, and all that the mind ever thought to be true, shaken and stirred, and then the hot furnace of the mirror of all sight of self alone, blend and equalize all the ingredients, and out of the oven come forth a perfect being........

all will be well, and perfect, and each desire of the heart, for the cure of all inconsistencies of an entire earth could never be solved by any human perception alone.......

one source ride into town, and turn what was up into down, and right the wrong and lower all high to the ground.......

People are all nuts. The next thing you know they'll be trying to tell you that if you accept and condone a blood sacrifice to that was made for your sake, and participate in a symbolic ritual of drinking the blood and eating the flesh of the victim some God will love you and let you be his eternal slave and only do HIS WILL for all of eternity.

They'll probably even act like that's supposed to be an inviting proposition.

Sometimes it makes me ponder that there might actually be a Satan to come up with these sick demented ideas.

indeed, collective conscious thoughts believed create a collective "conscious or carnel power", that can achieve many things, but all such things come from self interest served most, so be only a fraction of what come forth when there be no will to will?

but conscious power cannot speak into existence without thought, as is to be taught to do?

for such come not less the mind be freed of bias, asking for it be to be removed, and no such request is known to ask, less any mortal human has faced the wind, and looked into the mirror of self, no longer looking thru the actions of others as having any part of what self was and is and be?

then one pass thru the cacoon, the shedding of the serpent skin the mind, as power from ONE source, be the collective FIRST power, that NO POWER from all collective conscious minds can overwhelm or restrict, so there can be NO DESIRE TO BE GREAT TO TASTE OF IT?

indeed, not until the final seventh day of rest, as if god has no begnning or no ending, then indeed, earth has had MANY past seventh days of rest of god?

It may very well if you believe that they have healed you because you touched a TV screen and don’t go seek any real medical advice. It doesn’t really matter what other people are doing however. It’s their right to take that stuff seriously if they want to.

I don't know if I believe it or not. I just do it because its fun.

I don't know how it works or why. It has something to do with the collective unconscious mind I think, but there is no telling.

the bible says to annoint with the oil of our people ( olive oil ) in the name of Christ to ask for a healing. Says nothing about all the other fake stuff you see on tv. It doesnt say, send money and ask, or spit on someone, or throw your coat over them and push them down and or all the other crap we see so often. And it is not the oil that heals. It is the faith and obedience to God that heals in Christs name. The 700 club is just a money thing, that is mostly what they talk about. Most do not teach the word of God. If they just talk about money, that is where their heart is.

This is true. Most people view Tarot and other forms of divination as "fortune telling" because this is how it has become popularized as a carnival side show and through Hollywood.

But true divination is not fortune telling.

Of course that depends on which dictionary you subscribe to.

I perfer to use the following defintion for divination and just leave it at that:

Divination - A successful conjecture arrived at via insight or intuition gained from the use of various techniques.

Tarot is merely one of many tools that can be used to gain insight and intuitive knowlege that can be used to obtain a successful conjecture.



This is where I would vehemently disagree with you. The cards neither lie nor tell the truth. The cards are simply the tools being used by the interpreter.

The interpreter forms a conjecture based on his or her own insight and intuition. The conjecture is then only as good as the interpreter's insight and intuition.

Therefore the message that is interpreted from the cards is only as good as the interpreter and to say that the cards never lie is ridiculous.

The true magick is in the insight and intuition of the interpreter, it's not in the cards at all.

There is nothing special about tarot cards, the same divination can be had from a wide variety of means from runes, to scrying, to shamanic journeying, and a myriad of other techniques that can be used to incite insight and intuition.

I mean i totally agree that those things on TV are pure and total BS. However, why do we have to allow other BS such as psychics or tarot readers. I mean it's pretty much the same BS as 700 club.

It would be nice if one watches a commercial that when one sees something like they just touch the screen and before you know it, it is at your door step available to have.

A Heinecken commercial during super bowl and you touch the screen = it is already deducted from your account = and in 10 minutes at your door.

We would transform the information age into the lazy age.
