If you say so. I hope you are right. But what happens if countries (like China) stop holding the U.S. Dollar? What happens if the dollar drops to nothing on the world market? It is going down right now. What happens if the loans are called and we have no gold to back them up? They could take the land. They could take your land. If you really owned your land why do you still have to pay for it each year in taxes? Where do you think that money is going? It is paying interest on the loan. Your government does not get any of that. Try asking them to whom are you paying this debt. You will not get an answer. Try finding out where your property tax is going. You will not get a strait answer. Try not paying it. You will loose your land. If countries stop holding the USD, then we can't get the oil for free, and everything else for free, as we do now. It certainly looks like this is what's coming. If loans are called, we do one of the following: 1) Default. Like in 1969. They can kiss their loans good bye. The credit of US is backed by full faith. Nothing else. 2) Hyperinflate and pay back (the usual route of sovereigns). Nobody can take the land. Why? Because, it is sovereign. There is no law that we must obey, but the law we write. Only a military action can have as it's consequences certain reparations, but notice, only because a foreign power now can dictate it's own law as a result of military victory. The reason we pay taxes is to insure that we transact in USD. We do not need any taxes. We print anything we need today, and can print anything we need tomorrow, to cover what is currently covered by taxation. By using USD, any quantity of purchasing power can be taken away from you, through printing of new and additional claims on existing wealth. It is horrible, but not in the way most people think of it. Taxation is only a trick. If not taxation, you'd revert back to gold immediately, as I would. Note, that you can not pay taxes in gold. Because, to keep the hand in your pocket, the state needs you to earn USD, not gold. Hope I am not very cryptic. |

I don't think anything that anyone could have done to prove Obama is a citizen will be acceptable by those that think he is a fraud in some way. Even if he could proves something tomorrow some would suspect that he had something doctored. This is because you think that the obvious reason for questioning Obama's legitimacy is some hate towards him. I wouldn't doubt that some people might hate him. But, there is no need for us to lower ourselves to a level of animals. To me, if an original is produced, certified, and this issue is still dragged on, would be clearly irrational. |

Obama needs to reveal all the evidence he has, as to his natural citizenship. So far he refuses to do so, which only serves to multiply the rumors. There are few organizations a concerned citizen can donate to, in order to facilitate the discovery of the truth behind Obama's silence. One of them is obamacrimes.com It is better to find out now, before we face a military coup on the basis of a sitting president being "illegitimate", as had happen to some banana republics in the past. I sent for my birth certificate back in the early 80's and they would only send me a copy, not the original. It worked the same for what I needed it for, but I never saw the original. I don't think anything that anyone could have done to prove Obama is a citizen will be acceptable by those that think he is a fraud in some way. Even if he could proves something tomorrow some would suspect that he had something doctored. I can't get my original. I needed my birth certificate when the rules changed for the driver's license. I had to go to City Hall and buy a copy. They gave me a short version. If I wanted a longer version, I had to write to our state capitol and pay more to obtain it. Like Jeannie said, those were the only copies that were acceptable. |

I can't get my original. I needed my birth certificate when the rules changed for the driver's license. I had to go to City Hall and buy a copy. They gave me a short version. If I wanted a longer version, I had to write to our state capitol and pay more to obtain it. Like Jeannie said, those were the only copies that were acceptable. This is a consequence of some people getting "brand new identity" for themselves, by illegally obtaining some one else's certificates. One bad person spoils it for everybody. |

Nogames, I don't know if it is a federal law but it happened in my state. That was the explanation on the renewal papers - new laws and terrorism. |

Personally I don't think that is true, considering the very first time I needed a birth certificate which was way back in 1968, and still only got a copy. Come to think if it, there is only one original, so why would they send that... |
