I think a lot of people have different issues with control, just different areas in their life. As long as you dont try and control others then I dont see a big problem with it as long as it doesnt control you lol

Would you say you have control issues? YES. I am a VERY controlling person. A lot of that comes from my past career which was in the field of science. I am a very analytical and precise person by nature. I possess a very exacting sense of dicipline. Submissive men tend to fall under my spell quite easily so it works out well in that respect. It’s never been a hindrance and I’ve always viewed it as a positive attribute of my overall character. |

Would you say you have control issues? The only issue with "control" I have is when the other party seeks to exert more control than is acceptable toward me. Otherwise, I'm pretty laid back and have no issues. |

There is positive control and negative control. I lived in the D/s lifestyle for a very long time where positive control was...positive. However, I never felt the need to control someone, or "make" anyone do anything. I do control most situations that I am involved in but not like a dictator, tyrant or sadist. Just as a calm individual who thinks before he acts.
But negative control, where one feel the need to control another person against their will or to feed their own ego is a bad thing that I have not done. One would say it's good to control your children and teach them well. If an authority figure controls a situation, it is good. My point is that control can be good or bad depending on the context it is exercised in. |
