Your just being to picky. I never bought a sample. You see those cards they are free. I'm a landlord have lots of experience painting. I go in and look at the mistinted paint everytime. If it looks like a decent color, I get it. If I know I need more then one gallon I mix two of them together and create my own color. Anything looks better than nail holes and dirt from the previous tenant.

I choose my colors on what I like in nature. I have two bedrooms with fall colors one is Pumpkin and Autumn spice (also known as the orange room) the other is emerald forest with Autumn red accents.

Pick what is you like maybe deep ocean greens and blues.

Just think if you had a girlfriend picking it out you could end up in a Barbie pink house. happy

50 bucks for SAMPLES????

That's what I was thinking!!!
I don't think I'd spend 50 bucks on the paint!

I always look at the "returned" stuff. Sometimes people are just too damn picky. One 1/4 shade off and they bring it back. Works for me!

haha My Mom buys those pre-mixed return paints also... which is fine until you suddenly run out and there is a quarter of one wall left to paint and you can't buy more because it's an odd mixed color that the mixer can't duplicate.
