Take the compliment, be grateful, and move on. Being overly analytical about such things is not only a waste of time, it can also lead to false assumptions.

I don't think so, if someone thinks you have a pretty face & they compliment you , that's all it is. Besides offensive would be someone saying " your boobs are beautiful"
