Hate's a pretty strong word. There are a couple behaviors that irritate me to no end.....

A condescending attitude.

Highly defensive people....The kind that can take offense at even a compliment or the tone in your voice.

Once or twice, I can put up with it. If it becomes a regular thing, then I walk away.

"Political Correctness" ill

For God's sake, if you have something to say, just SAY it! Don't beat around the bush with artsy-fartsy names or over-analyzed wording. I have a lot more respect for somebody who will just lay it on the line instead of sugar-coating everything.

 What is that quality you hate most in others?

I hate having to be more "understanding" or "tolerant" of their drama, while the same can't or won't be given to me. It's almost like I'm chopped liver or something- I have to be the shoulder to cry on for someone with his or her crappy problems, while I have to stick it out all by myself.

This isn't just relegated to peoples' personal problems, either. It can also count for other areas of life, or lifestyle. I'm expected to be "tolerant" and "understanding", but if I disagree, I'm an asshole.

Exactly. It can be about anything, really. But it gets REALLY stinky when in a dating scenario, as that's where the drama can get REALLY stinky...

You're expected to be "understanding" to whatever lame-ass issues that -say- your girlfriend may have (could be stemming from something from her past or something else), but you're dropped like a baby on the kitchen floor when the roles are reversed. It's almost like you're looked upon as some kind of sub-human with a half-a-brain or something.

I've had a couple of relationships end because of this exact kind of single-sided compassion, and it sucks.

Unlike most "ladies" out there. They often pretend a lot. And not in a good way, either.

I don't hate others
Sometimes I dislike others
I do hate giving my son meds
I hate worrying about the long-term affects
I hate worrying he wont grow out of it
I hate worrying about how long I will have him
I love him every second of every day

Sorry needed to vent, oh and forgot about the steam room

People who let everyone and everything else -- their friends, the media, senseless tradition, their dog -- do their thinking for them.

I'll add a BIG +1 to that one!

Humorless people that think everything has to be dead serious. Lighten up!! It's good for your health.
