Lately, people seem to be in a huge rush to meet. I'm talking about wanting to meet that night or the next. No wanting to chat even a little to see if there is any interest in meeting. Are any of you like this? If so, why?

I am usually not in a rush to meet someone, but yep I know what you mean. I'd rather chat for awhile and see if I even want to meet them.

Yes,I know what you mean. I feel like a red flag automatically goes up when someone pushes immediately for a meeting. I mean I go like "whoa" hold on... whats the big hurry... Let me make sure I even want to get to that point first.

I think talking for a day or two is kewl, but the woman you are talking with might have other points of view. I dont really jump thru hoops for any prospective relationship... it really hasnt ever paid off for me. If they cant dig it then blow them off and start searching again lol.

No, I like to take my time get to know them, chat, email, then on the phone & then I will decide if I even want to meet & if I do we alot to talk about , it cuts way down on the nerves of the first date because you feel like you already now them. Works for me anyway

i want to talk for awhile online then the phone. then once i feel comfortable with them i'll ask to set up a meet.

I've wasted time on line with people before only to find that. IMHO

I've wasted time on line with people before only to find that. IMHO I'd even be happy with chatting a couple times and a phone call. These guys who are in such a rush don't even want that. They just want to meet that night. I find that kind of odd.
