Sure what he meant was :

"Have women given up on men?"

Not everyone is perfect... and even if his grammer and spelling lack somthing, he has a valid point. Everyone seems to want an honest / caring person.. but tend to dump on those people when they get them. Before you jump back at me, i'm refering to men and women.

Maybe it's just human nature to pick someone else apart, or maybe i'm just not in that mood tongiht.

How ironic that if 5 men post on here, 4 of them use the wrong form of the word "woman" and make it plural "women." Yet no one says anything about that. In fact, if anyone even goes so far as to make a post criticizing bad spelling or improper grammar, we're all beat over the head and told to feel sorry for the uneducated or those who are just "poor spellers."

However, when the OP of this thread made a post and used bad spelling and improper grammar, instead of welcoming him and overlooking his mistakes- as you do for everyone else- it became the joke of the evening to make fun of him. I find that VERY interesting. VERY interesting indeed. Shame on you.

Well, it's true that your spelling is absolutely atrocious, but then again, alot of people don't spell correctly to begin with, so that shouldn't really be the issue here.

The issue at hand is one that the other ladies (and gentlemen)pointed out already which is that you are only 18. At 18 you probably shouldn't be looking for "the one" to begin with. You have years ahead of you to find the right person for you, so why rush it? Childhood and teenage years last for such a short while, but being an adult is endless. Take your time. Have fun. When the time is right for you, you'll find her.

I feel as a courtesy to others and to not place them into a position to have to strain to read your posts and guess at what you are attempting to convey, then proper spelling, punctuation and grammar is essential. If you have trouble spelling, then there is a spell checker.
