actually it is against the law to commit adultery in almost all state but has been reduced to a misdemeanor and a 100 to 1000 dollar fine ..In fact in most states fornication or any sexual act between unmarried persons is illegal...It just isnt enforced unless a cop catches you with his wife

Isn't the third and/or fourth party in this triangle entitled to FULL DISCLOSURE and CONSENT, too? You forgot that there are more than TWO people involved in this equation. Or, do you practice a different MATH?

so you do it.
then you fall in love.
then what?
he/she is probably not going to leave their current life.
then jealousy gets involved.
as your affair progresses...you get sloppy in hiding it.
the innocent spouse finds out.
a lot changes.
then your lover ends up hating you because you f**ed up everything in his/her life.

Nope, it's a road to nowhere and it's hurtful to their mate. I don't like to share or play second fiddle.

Besides, who gets his company on holidays?

no... i couldn't be "the other woman"... i've been on the other end of that before in a serious relationship...

i was with someone who was separated, and i even felt guilty doing that because, to me, he was married...

that's where the analogy ends, cuz he wouldn't BE the man of my dreams if he were married
