Read a study once that said people feel/express more pain about something when a loved one is around. It was based on the human nature need for attention and comforting. Seemed odd at the time i read it but i guess it makes sense. |

I can't compete with her grand daughter but then her grand daughter likes me, too. I have had to stop being jealous of her grand daughter because her grand daughter likes me, too. It was a major issue for me to deal with but I have finally resolved it. But what really pisses me off is that we can finally get some time together and she goes and gets sick. |

It's makes "you pissed that she goes and gets sick"?! 
She didn't do that on purpose! Nobody likes to be sick. I've canceled dates due to illness before. I've canceled them because my child has been ill and I had to take care of them. I would never date a man that gets pissed that I'm sick. Also, you had to stop being jealous of a grandchild and can't compete with her? Who's the adult here?
