Does anyone know a general price of replacing windows with Vinyl windows? (Window & Install)

Just replace all windows with duct tape. SO much cheaper and better.

I paid $3,000.00 for windows for my house (13 windows and a sliding patio door)

it will depend on many variables.... first how many you are replacing, their size, is the house one story or two, and the brand/style your looking for.

it really goes by the size of house and the brand of window your gonna use.also it may be cheaper to by the windows and have a contractor install them.a friend to all george.

depending on the quality of the window and the warranty you get...between $200 - $450 per window...in vinyl sizing doesnt make a whole lot of difference unless you are looking at picture or bay windows....

Okay, since window Brands or styles seems to make the most difference then what are the better brands and what brands do I STAY AWAY from? FYI, My House is a one story with 18 Windows: There are 11 windows that are 53" x 36" (H x W) One Large window 5' x 6' I also want a Bow window put in a 4' x 7' slot Plus a possible Bay window ...

mine were installed at 500.00 per window for top of the line insulated e glass vinyl...that was about 5 years ago...i did alot of shopping and believe me when i say all windows are not created equally...especially if you live in a northern climate be sure the frames are insulated...and of course check he qualifications of the installer...get references...if installed improperly it can cause pretty serious structural damage if things are not properly sealed.

goto home depot ,sears,,or lowes and get some quotes.... I'd recommend.....either lARSON OR MARVIN WINDOWS AND DOORS!!!! (get argon filled) and look for ones that are easily cleaned!!!

it will be cheaper to put them in yourself if ya can..Anderson is a great brand,but they know it..kinda pricey
