But not seeing your other half for 5 weeks is a tough thing.. there has to be reason behind it.. If you are not willing to put up with this behavior from her you need to let her know and maybe end it.. I know I would not be dating some one if they were constantly making excuses and what not.. if they do not want to be with me I do not want to be with them...

I'm brutally honest. I don't really tell if they don't ask, but if they don't ask I wont lie about stuff. And if I don't want them to know something, I tell them I don't want to tell them. And if they bother me about it, I just either tell them to leave, or get up and leave. :/

From a result of my previous forum topic "LIE," I found that people tend to care more about feelings than being honest. So in your case, in my opinion, she feel terrible about telling you the truth so she lies (unless she got into a motocycle accident and lost her phone, which happened to a friend of mine).

I would definitely move on and find peace in doing things I like to do. Just go with the flow, and don't let your mental drama take over your life.
