i used to feel that way and would change to do so. now that i am on my way to clearing my divorce i have seen a new lite , as i dont act like a jerk but if you dont like who and what i am then i will not hang out with or attempt to win that person over, always stya true to who you are and you will live the benefits of that

To feel maybe we really aren't that bad, even if that what we were lead to believe by someone in our past, that maybe someone can except us and love us for the person we are...

I, peronally was brought with the concept it really didn't matter what people around you think........except your family and life long friends. so to me it isn't acceptance I need, just love and support.

To reinforce the denial that we are not crazy. I'm well past that stage, into enjoying being insane. |

I used to believe this when I was high school age... but after high school I realized that it really didn't matter... and it shouldn't have mattered in high school either.

It's always nice but not necessary.

Being accepted is part of life. Everybody wants or needs to feel accepted in some way by someone. It is human nature.
