If God didn't want us to eat animals...he wouldn't have screwed up and made them out of meat. Let's face it...if deer tasted like fruitcake or tofu this entire conversation wouldn't be happening. Let's hear the non-hunters sing the praises of Bean curd or fruitcake....... (This is the sound of no one saying a friggin word) who the f@#$k eats fruit cake? Fruit cakes of course!! Didnt Jimmy Buffet do a song about them???

finally got a deer tonight,fresh backstrap on the grill...come on over I take it the tenderloins didn't make it out of camp...LOL. Awesome. enjoy some for me.

What do ya do with all the guts? Make Menudo.... And Dude..no harm no foul with the tree hugger comment...I hug trees...anyone who has ever had to drop a duece in the woods will know that hugging a tree is a great tactic.

I have a clue as to what menudo is, since I live in mexico, alabama. But does that include all intrails?

They are also good for streamers for parties and can be used as a condom in a pinch...(Please tell me that you KNOW I am joking!) Menudo uses stomach lining..(I can't handle it so I just fish it out and give that part to my dogs) The rest is either used for Chitlins (From hogs) or Tripas for nasty low dollar Mexican burritos.

LOVE fresh venison...as long as it was dressed quickly, cooked right and not too "gamey". YUM! However, I've been known to sit in a deer stand for 8 hours and not take a single shot when I had ample opportunity. So SHOOT ME...just can't shoot anothing with a heartbeat until it presents clear and present danger to me. Now, who brought the salad to accompany the venison roast?

That's the only thing I miss about my ex husband. Fresh game. Deer and wild pigs. Oh well. Can't have everything I guess.

What do ya do with all the guts? Dogs will eats the intestines and internal organs also. A lot of people raw feed their pets because they feel it is more healthy.
