I don't know!! I haven't really noticed anyone lying about his or her age, but then, I tend to be a tad naive.  
I have noticed many folks, esp. men in my age bracket, whose pics are a few years old, or they keep their mouths closed in their smiling pics as they don't have teeth or they are yellow/brown/half missing.

I have noticed this phenomenon, with guys that stop by and perv me since I've been a member some people just stand out, so when the peek in again, I think hey weren't they like 47 last week, and now they are 35 WTH!!!!!!!!!! ages change to a few years younger, to 10-15 years younger it's funny to me... I guess they never plan on meeting anyone in person, because eventually the truth would come out to each his own, I guess 
I think you are right and I never thought about it! The truth will have to come out at some point or another! You can't really lie about something like that forever! |

This post is baffling, in a society where our popular media promotes youth, prescription drugs and most women have fake boobs and are thin as a rail people wonder why some folks would lie about their age.
In many cultures being older isn't frowned upon it is cherished,but in America it is seen as being over the hill your frail and acquired stupidity with age instead of knowledge. Getting older isn't for the weak or those that have no inner beauty or strength and have depended on their looks to get them by, for beauty withers and fades as people age. I dread getting older but lying about it doesn't make one younger.."damn to bad it doesn't I'd like to be 25 again or maybe a well aged 30." I chat on my cam with to many people online to lie about it, and women face a worse time then men as they age they get rugged looking women are seen as just old. Me I'm looking forward to my second childhood hope it goes better then the first one

Is it just me or does it seem like some people say they are maybe 25, and when you look at their picture they are obviously over the age of 40? I was just wondering if anyone else noticed and if it was weird to you too! It is hard to tell with age I think. I am 44 but people tell me I look younger. |

I'm almost 52 but in my mind I'm 27 and a half.... When I look at men's pictures that are in my age group they look so much older!!

i think age is relative to ones lifestyle, but you know if your on this site lying then your probably not gonna get what your looking for anyways. besides women arent required to tell there age really a ballpark is fair enough. but i think most reasonable people want some close to there age or they are just setting therselves up.
