how do you feel about these type of threads? meaning a thread to either
bait someone in from a previous thread that u disagree with their own
thoughts... or hoping to rise ones blood presure with these
intentions...

for i have seen arguments or dissagreements on here ..hurt others, even
to the point deactivating their account....

my opinon on this is.. tired of all the arguing.. and these types of
threads arent good... they seem to be made for the intent of proving
others wrong. or with intent to hurt or upset a person..and certainly if
one has had this happen to them before on here..i would hope they
wouldnt make these kind of threads...rather u like the person or dont
like them... i go with in my mind "practice what u preach"... and "do
unto others as u would like them to do unto u"...just my thoughts
here...

I haven't seen that much of that here. I usually just ignore them, they
just want attention, don't give it to them and they'll go away.

I agree with you there buttons. Recently I have seen the baiting threads
appear, if for anything to get back at someone from a previous thread.
Before feelings are hurt, the loss of members or causing one to lurk in
the shadows it should be stopped.

I guess I feel like it takes two -- one to bait, and the other to be
baited -- and there's always a choice there, to take the bait or not.

It boils down to a lack of two things -- communication and maturity.

I have seen some threads that appear to be baiting yes, and I play it by
ear wit them. If I start getting upset and reacting instead of being
reasonable and calm I will excuse myself (Trust me I have done so in
here int he political threads on more than one occasion) for a few days
until I can respond properly. I would hope others would too.

Or it could be a matter of principle..

this is true.... yes one has a choice to bite or not.... but im not
aksing about that here....... im asking why are they made in the first
place? it may take two.... but starting a thread like this is like
starting a fight.... a online fight what is the point of starting
a thread like this is what im asking... other than to purposly cause
problems? or to hurt ones feelings?

On my magazine we ban these people almost immediately. It's all about
love and caring. there is too much hurt in the world the way it is.
