WOOHOO!!! 30-23...Missouri Tigers took the Alamo Bowl away from the Northwestern "Wild"cats in overtime! Take that ESPN... that'll teach you to pick the winner before the game is over.

Has anyone else noticed that ESPN always picks favorites during any kind of game that they are airing? Baseball, football, it doesn't matter what sport, they always pick out the winner ahead of time and the announcers do everything in their power to make that team look and sound good. Mizzou scored tonite and instead of getting, "Oh what a great play by Daniel", we got a, "Now you see, there is the mistake by northwestern and that is the only reason the Tigers scored on that play." Anyway, it doesn't matter cuz my boys kicked some butt and showed Northwestern how the BIG cats play!

Next important game... Gators vs. those losers from OU! Let's go GATORS!!!

I'm rooting for them for 2 reasons. #1, I go to Mizzou so hating OU comes as natural to me as hating KU. And #2, my last ex who just royally screwed me over is from Oklahoma and is an OU fan, and I hope for his sake OU gets slaughtered. So, GO GATORS!

ESPN always comments on how Kentucky sucks, even if they are winning the game! So i hate those announcers with a passion.

AND KENTUCKY WILL WIN THEIR BOWL GAME THIS YEAR!

They do the same thing to the STL Cardinals and it ticks me off to the point where I yell at the tv and that is when I change the channel to FSN-Midwest... "Where Cardinals fans come first", lol! At least I'm lucky that the Cardinals have their own network all to themselves w/ no biased announcers so I don't have to listen to ESPN's garbage. And what is up with that dumb blond lady reporter on ESPN?! She said something about a baseball team winning a game in overtime! It's extra innings!!!!

Every team that has it's own network hand picks the announcers. They, in most cases, played for the team at one point or another.

FSN Detroit does it with the Tigers. YES Network does it for the Yankees.

Nearly every team has " homers " as their game announcers. Some guys are just more blatant about it ( hello Chicago White Sox what's with the ' Score one for the Good Guys ' crap )than others.

The Cards have those announcers as well, but they don't bash the other team. They recognize good plays on both sides. Cardinals fans recognize good plays from the other teams too. Unless you live in St. Louis, you just wouldn't understand the kind of baseball town that we are. If you want to see the best fans in baseball... come to St. Louis.

OMG! what an amazing game, Pryor is going to be a superstar, and Colt was indescribable, wow, hats off to "The" OSU, that was the best bowl game of the year BY FAR.

As much as I hate both of those teams, I went for the lesser of two evils, and had to go with Texas since they are Big 12, and I'm a Huskers fan.

But yeah....incredible bowl game. The best one I've seen yet. I'm sure a lot of people are still upset about that out-of-bounds call at the end.

I can't wait for the BCS Championship. Again....lesser of two evils. Me being a Huskers fan should give you an idea of my feelings towards Oklahoma. And, I LIVE in Florida, but I'm not a huge fan. I do respect their program and legacy though.
