I must have good luck or something then, b/c I've only met two guys online and both become my boyfriend. One I randomly met on myspace, but a year later he turned on me and left me for someone else. And then the other I met on another site, but he had to move back home (500 miles away). However, I know that if he were still in St. Louis, that we'd still be together today. So, so far... my luck has been good. Not to mention, my last ex was beyond attractive!!!

Yeah I saw Mr Manhattan and I thought a big blue freak can gt a hot woman like that and I thought what's he got that I don't. Then they did a pull back and I said to myself, I can't compete with that.

Its one of those movies that you will love or hate O_O Yeah, you either love it or you hate it. Me and my roommate hated it, the rest of our group loved it. One chick literally jumped down my throat because I said that it was and I quote, "The absolute worst movie I have EVER paid money to go see in my ENTIRE life!!!!". I thought she was going to jump into the backseat and strangle me. "You don't like superhero movies do you?!" Umm... Spiderman 1 & 2 are two of my all time favorite movies, and the Dark Knight pulls in at a close second, or third. Well, apparently those aren't superhero movies, or they were really crappy or something, b/c once again she made me feel like a moron for stating my opinion. |

I guess it was me and my roommate with our add or something, but both of us just wanted it to be over with already. All I got from it was a lot of mindless blood and gore and an "oh my god, he's my father" type thing. I just didn't care for it.

Well, how this movie got rave reviews is beyond me. I saw it, and half way through the movie I thought, "Will this madness EVER end?!" All I can say is that it was a waste of my time and money. The movie had no plot, and Dr Manhattan seriously needed to put on a banana sack or something b/c those blue danglies were hella distracting and SO not normal. I could have been at home watching my Mizzou Tigers beat Baylor for the Big 12 Championship.

Swell. Another season of perfectly good TV airtime wasted on this crap, just so we can have another cookie-cutter no-talent perhaps taking up space on the radio charts (but most times, not). I'm really looking forward to it.  
Hey, David Cook is FAR from "cookie-cutter no-talent". And what about Daughtry huh? Carrie Underwood? Carrie had the highest selling debut album of any female in country music history. That girl has some pipes. And so does David Cook. Daughtry and Carrie are both out winning AMAs and CMAs. David Cook is the first winner that I am aware of that actually had a say in how his songs were written. Give him a listen. Just don't knock it til you've tried it. There has been ALOT of talent come from AI/ Carrie Underwood Kelly Clarkson Jordin Sparks are prolly the best. But David Archuleta is doing way better than Cook! Pretty sure, that's wrong. Archie may be doing good in the pop world like on RadioDisney where all of his fans tune into, but DC is on the rock stations... you know, where the cool kids listen. Actually, Archuleta debued HIGHER than Cook. And He is ALSO on all the main staightions. Ive heard him WAY more than Cook. 
Yeah, but if you read the reviews for Archie's album, it flopped. And on the billboard charts right now, DC's album is at #18... Archie is at #62. Archie may have peaked at #2 but he sure as hell fell a lot faster than David Cook. Sorry, but Archuleta is going to fade away like Bo, and Diana DeGarmo, and all of the other previous runners-up. Anyway, get over it... he lost. The new season has already started. And check your spelling, it doesn't help your argument at all... debuted, stations. I think COOK is the one that is gonn afade away. The only reason he won is bc people that have NO CLUE about music voted for him bc they thot he was hott. Archuleta CLEARLEY had more talent. Well, I guess that Simon, Paula, and Randy have no clue about music either b/c they saw something in David Cook. But yeah, I personally thought he was hot but that's not why I voted for him. I thought David Archuleta was a cutie too, but I wasn't into his voice. He was good, but I didn't care for him. I voted for DC b/c I was into his kind of music, I loved the rocker edge, his taking risks, he was amazing. But do you honestly think that the tweenies voted for Archie based on his voice alone? The show is somewhat of a popularity contest and a talent competition. And if I recall, all of the judges told David Cook that they thought he was going to win the competition at one point or another during the shows running. I'm done arguing with you. This thread is supposed to be here for people to discuss the show, not to bash the contestants and call people names. And I'm not middle aged, I'm 20! Last time I checked middle aged started around 35-40. Just drop it. I honestly don't care anymore. |
