United we stand.........

Divided we will fall.
Do you remember hearing that?

People are brianwashed for the most part. They choose security (physical and financial protection) over freedom and responsibility.

Unfortunately we have had a largely increasing government for over a century now. People are starting to pay attention. Although watching it is a painful process. People still hear what they want to hear (cough...Obama), but hopefully they don't sit back in their recliners and relax just yet. In order to see this governments true colors we need to pay close attention for this administration as well. I mean more then just tuning in to CNN. Remeber CFR is the private organisation that controls our media, so apply critical thinking to what you see and hear.

We are, it seems, on the verge of a revolution. Not a peaceful one either. Our militia's are growing stronger by the day, and as we speak, thousands of infantry troops are being removed from Iraq to deal with potential "civil disturbances" here in the U.S. We need a revolution, but it's time we have one at our ballot box before we experience one in our own back yards.

We the people have the ability to make our own decisions. We the people need to start accepting responsibility for ourselves. A prosperous nation is not measured by how many cars we have in our yards. We need to start ditching some of these cars, paying off our bills so we can become more independent. Independent people are smarter. Then we can start voting some decent people into office.

Without laws and a gov to enforce them the strong will rule according to their whim and the meek will remain silently obedient untill they develop a means to fight back. (How do you think the progression of weapons development began, and why we now have nuclear weapons?)
Terrorisim gets its origin from the same place. You can wish and hope all day and night, but what you speak of, no centralized gov, will only lead to anarchy, more wars and violence, and innocent people being massacred!

Our country was founded on an uncentralized government (State's rights override the federal government). Its part of our checks and balances my friend. Centralizing the power was the first step to our destruction.

Its my opinion that to sit around wishing for such a thing as no government is a waste of time and energy. (Chit in one hand and wish in the other kind of thing)
What we should all be doing is uniting to make the best government in the world even better. Never being satisfied that we have accomplished an end to the task. Im sure that is what the founding fathers had in mind when they established this great country and her constitution.
We just became complacent and begin to think we had lost sight of a Government of the people by the people. We nearly did. Now we must all unite and focus to ensure this never happens again!

Our country is now taking so steady a course as to show by what road it will pass to destruction, to wit: by consolidation of power first, and then corruption, its necessary consequence.

I agree with complacency. People all too often fall victim to this emotion. You are right.

But the key to the best government, is indenpendence. The less we try to rely on our government the better.

Our government caused almost every economic collapse/war we've had in the last hundred years or more. The key to the "best government" is a very small, simple government, that steps in only when ones civil rights is being trampled. These rights are listed in our constitution.

I have faith in the People.
America will survive.

Obama is just the first step in taking back our destiny, by no means do I believe he can do it all or that he will be the last step.
It is however a necessary first step!

Nonviolence is the first article of my faith. It is also the last article of my creed---Mahatma Gandhi

The ideally non-violent state will be an ordered anarchy. That State is the best governed which is governed the least---Mahatma Gandhi

Government equals the playing feild. Without it the strong will rule and the weak will follow by fear in the light and use terror to fight back in the dark!

ANARCHY!!!!!!!

While that may be true to a certain extent now, I think the op was talking a more advanced way of doing things. And, humans are jut not ready for that.

However, that being said, a lot of what the government currently does to try and make things equal actually makes things worse. You cannot legislate people into believing differently than they do.

I couldn't agree more. People should find eachother on their own. They don't need govt. to do that for them.

true freedom is a state of mind

Some people think about what they are told

Some people like being told what to think

That is the major difference in voters in a free society

Yep, and Obama won by people voting against the propaganda and lies told to them by the Republican Party. They saw through the Rhetoric, thought for themselves, and voted with a clear voice for change. No recount this time. They were tired of being led around like sheeple by the self-declared decider!
It wasnt a Democrat victory, it was an American victory, decided by Democrats, Independents, and yes, quite a few Republicans who finally saw the truth. Young and old, all red-blooded Americans who were tired of being lied to and taken for fools!

and by others who were tired of seeing their President being thought of woldwide as an incompetent idiot. That makes a big difference in gaining international cooperation in times of crisis

What if - there was NO MONEY and every individual had at their disposal anything they wanted? What if you could not BUY anything because everything you could ever need was available to you?

What would be the cause of unrest?

Let's suppose all people are the same!................

Not!

Lets suppose they were though just for chits-n-giggles, and suppose they all had all they could eat and good health care so as they lived longer.
First of all they would be very crowded. The land required to feed the multitudes that would soon follow happy heterosexuals with all their hearts could desire breeding like rabbits would shrink, or they would be forced to live on top of each other in rather crowded situations. Soon they would lose their happy minds and began killing each other just to create privacy and space.
And who do you suppose would supply the organization to manage and distribute the vast quantities of goods such a dream would require to fulfill? Government, Santa Clause, or Angels?
Then without the land to put all these people where would you dispose of their waste? Without proper disposal of the garbage and dead disease would soon ravage the population.
While we are living in this pipe-dream. Why not just wish that death would cease altogether!

Of course one could just wish we were all gay and bred children as if they were farm animals to distribute and control the population at a managable level! All human life bred in testtubes and labratories, distributed one per household maybe?

Im just saying.
Maybe that is the way human evolution should go. Maybe the whole world turning gay is a better idea than even God could have fathomed.
Maybe we could all live in peace and harmony then as we all know gays never commit acts of violence or greed!
