You know what, the rings mean absolutely nothing, because the 2008 Cowboys didn't win any of them, and they won't be adding the next one this year.

And no playoff victories since the 90's. Jones has still not figured out that all the high priced talent on the planet does not guarantee winning in December and January. Football is a team sport more so than any other major sport and America's Team owner hasn't figured that out yet.

All you Cowboy fans should be wishing for a few things.

1. Taking personnel decisions completely out of the hands of the owner. The only period in time that the Jones run Cowboys won was when Jimmy Johnson made the player decisions.



2. Hire a coach that will MAKE SURE HIS TEAM HAS FOCUS. The circus that is the Cowboys will never stop being a freak show until Jones sells the team. However, a STRONG coach could possibly keep all the divas, felons, and knuckleheads in line.


Until then, I laugh at the "Boys" and their fans. Don't expect to be adding any trophies to that dusty showcase.
