well women did like my harley too and i got laid,the funny thing is i can talk like this on here cause almost after a year of not meeting anyone from here i feel relaxed and able to talk and be truthful on here cause my friends list is longer than my favorites .......

And last but not least is the intellegent people who use FILTERS on this site. But go overboard. The filters work well for their intended purposes. The computer automatically blocks out those you do not desire to contact you. However if you use all filters available NOONE can contact you. There's nothing funnier than someone who starts a thread called "Why won't anyone talk to me?" Upon further inspection we find noone can contact her because the filters are blocking everyone out automatically. She has filters set up for 1: non smoking, 2: non drinking, 3: men only, 4: not married, 5: age restricted from age 35 to 37, 6: only within a 25 mile radius. Yay! Checkmate yourself you dummy! Paint yourself in a corner why don't ya!! Duh!!! This has happened a few times and I still find it amazingly funny. Why won't anyone talk to you? Because you don't want them to! You blocked us all out.

Yeah its always fun to contact lex or roberta or rapunzel. Takes 12 minutes to scroll through their 798 page profiles. Mouse killers!!!

I spent an afternoon reading profiles.
Two afternoons, actually.
And discovered that it is a waste of time.
Just because people write about themselves, or what they are assured that they do/don't want in a relationship, has almost nothing to do with whether or not we will click.

In over 80% of the instances when communication and character have clicked, for me, the ladies had the usual stuff in their profiles, but they write emails which are consistently larger and more interesting than their profiles.

I try to pass along a few suggestions but very few ever listen!

Maybe I'm the weird one, because I'd actually like to know a little something ABOUT a person, though -- yes, I look at pics, but the best pic in the world will never be enough to compensate for "I don't know what to write here."

I donno Lex....I got some good pix that speak a thousand words....but, they would only get me suspended ...and a few dates....

We have to be careful not to stereotype here. I get a lot of e-mails and prospective Mutual Matches and thread comments from women who obviously have not read my profile. But that DOESN'T mean I should ask, "Do women ever read profiles?".



Some women do, some women don't.

most people men and women don't read them until after the fact of looking at the photo, if they like what they see in the photo they may read the profile before contacting. I read a lot of profiles and almost all of them say the same thing. Hope this helps but I don't want.
