you try online dating? i tried it because its like shopping online sort of. I liked the idea that I didn't have to dress up, or at all even I can sit here on my beanbag naked eating cheetos and no one knows

I live in a very small town, not many available men, so my first intent was in hopes of finding someone to date. Now...I find it a place to meet new people, make a friend or two, and a way to fill the time when there's nothing else I want to do.

I foolishly thought I may find someone, but I soon figured out that dating sites are a waste of time, then I stumbled on this place a year ago & made some friends. I'm not even looking anymore

I tried it out due to I don't get out much not into the bar scene and pretty much work and go home. So thought I would try it out to see if I could meet someone. I stayed here due to I got hooked on the forums and have made some really good friends even if they are online.

I'm in the military and I've found it hard to find a woman that's willing to commit since I travel fairly often. I've also lived in Las Vegas for 4 years and while there's some good people here, there's a lot of fakes and the tourists tend to be more of annoyance than anything else for locals. I'm past looking for a one night stand; I want something more in my life. Thus, I joined mingle on a whim and voila...here I am.
