Spiritual energy reading for Saturday, Jan 10, 2009 2:46 p.m. Colorado time.

Card Drawn: Judgment

The girl in the picture has reached a place in her travels where she is at a crossroad in her life. She looks at a gravestone and thinks of her own life and death. She reflects on her past and contemplates a new future.

Wake up and realize your real work and path in life. Valuable lessons have been learned; now put them to practical use.

Don't take two steps backward. It is spiritual awakening time. Time to move forward, not back into the same pattern. It is time for real change.

You have been given a second chance, you have broken free of past entanglements, don't repeat the mistakes of the past again and again.

Happiness does not lie outside of yourself. Cease your search for someone to make you happy. Be who you are and the love surrounds you.

Your are at, or are approaching, a crossroad. Decide what you truly want and follow your purpose. It is your life and time here is precious.

Jeannie, what you said about finding your answer in the headlines of a magazine is what made me think of this..

I have thought many times that when we can shut off the chatter in our own heads, the answer to our questions are already there waiting for us to find them in some pretty unique ways.

I did an experiment with myself a many times. When I was worried about something or had a particular problem, I would go to the library. Before entering I would sit quietly and clear my head as much as possible, not thinking about the question. Then I would ask the universe to expose the answer to me in a book. It might only take one word in the text, it might take a word in the title, it might be the title itself..

Every dang time I would choose a book that answered my question.

Of course for me I chose for the answer to come in a book but it could be any sources.

This is so true. Reading tarot cards is merely a convenient way to find the answers to burning question posed to the universe. It can save you a trip to the library. LOL

But a person does not have to become dependent on tarot cards. If I did not have my deck, I know I can ask a question and then stay alert for the answer to show up. It might be on a sign painted on a bus, or something I hear on the television, or something someone says to me.

I could use being saved from going to the library where I am now, I can't wait to move to a place that has a larger and better selection of books. Here is is mostly love stories and religious books geared toward christianity.

I am going to try it with out the library next time I have a question.. grin

Thank you for your comments.

Today's spiritual reading Draws the King of Swords who has some spiritual advice for us.

Drawn Sunday, January 11th, 2009 at 10:15 AM.

He says: (Strait from the Book Power Tarot..)

Your spiritual path begins on a mental level, through an intellectual curiosity about religion, philosophy, metaphysics. Read, study, research. Once you've found your intellectual niche, you become immersed emotionally in your path.

Empowerment:
Your sharp intellect cuts to the heart of any matter.

*******

My comment. Today I realized I spend too much time reading things on the computer. E-books, included. So I purchased some text to speech softeware and some human sounding voices and now I can busy myself painting or cleaning or exercising while I also listen to the book I would have just been sitting at the computer reading. Its really cool.

The program has an add-on for my browser that allows me to select and copy posts in this club and have them read to me out loud. The program is called textaloud and was only $29.00. It can also open and read PDF files. I love it. Now I can talk to my computer and it talks back. LOL

The Tarot is not witchcraft. (That is, no where in the Bible or the Church does it mention tarot cards as witchcraft so what is your motivation for saying that? )

I realize some fundamentalist Christians call it that, but then they call people a lot of things.

Well apparently I do too, according to some people. I guess being creative and imaginative is witchcraft. Hell, having fun, dancing and even smiling is church is viewed as sinful by some people.

Witchcraft is a good thing. It is a creative thing. It is learning to use your GOD GIVEN POWERS for what ever you want.

People take life and religion tooo seriously. No wonder they live miserable lives, grow old and die.

Daily Spiritual Tarot Card Reading.

January 12, 2009

Card Drawn: The Dark Priestess

The Dark priestess wears the smile of a friend but she has her own agenda. This card warns of a spy in your circle if it shows up in a reading.

This is the energy of a woman but it can also be a man. It can be a nice person and a person who appears to be your friend but she has her final loyalty elsewhere and may have a mission to accomplish within your camp.

It is important to realize that the Dark Priestess describes a person who functions as a spy or double agent. You cannot trust him or her with any secrets or information that you want kept confidential.

You will know her because she seems to show you only 30% of her self and the rest she keeps hidden. You get the feeling she is not being completely forthcoming. She holds back her secrets and shares yours with her master or who ever she is in service to.

This card is not a traditional Tarot card. I created it for our deck as a warning. The other card we added to our deck is the Dark Magician who represents one who wishes to do you harm, one who is extremely angry at you, or one who practices dark magic against you.

In this older version of the card, the picture shows the secret of the Dark Priestess. She sleeps with the enemy and her loyalty is with her master.

The new version, is a young woman with a sweet face who offers you an apple. Probably a poison one.

Thanks Artgurl. I had to edit it a few times.

Note: This dark priestess holds a pomegranate in her hand and I believe that is what the new one is holding also, not an apple. The pomegranate is the most popular fruit in Hell according to legend.

You've created really beautiful images...the deck feels more alive than many I've seen.

I'm looking forward to seeing the new one you are working on as well. It will do well for you I think...

My friend Darla is the expert in Tarot Decks as she is a collector. She has looked at just about every deck out there on the market and she says there is not one deck that comes close to this one. It has always been her dream to create her own perfect tarot deck. I helped her learn the art side of it on the computer and I do the final touches on the designs but I told her she has the final say since it was her dream.

The picture you see of me as my icon picture is my significator card in the deck.

I made several for her. Here is one of them:

Daily Spiritual Tarot reading.

January 13th Tuesday, 2009 at 8:24 AM

Card drawn: The Magician.

Our traditional magician is cast as a woman and this first card is a picture we found on the Internet that could not be used in a printed deck so we have changed our magician card at least a dozen times so I have several I could show you. The following one is in our first deck.

THE Card:

The magician represents an energy or person who continually creates reality through his or her will and imagination. It is all about using or learning to use what you have to accomplish what you desire.

As an alchemist and transformer, he epitomizes the ability to translate ideas into action. He relies on self confidence, power, and determination to see him through.

THE READING:

Seemingly magical influences come into your life and you intuit or invent solutions to your most pressing problems. you suddenly notice synchronicities that point to a deeper order and organization. You take the unconscious energy of the Fool and sculpt it, and direct it to create what you want and need.

The magician personifies the power of the will and the creative faculty. It is an energy that has found a way to live with purpose. This card symbolize creative intelligence, psychic discovery, new beginnings, and the realization that with desire, intent, and focus, all your dreams are within our reach.

Here is another design for a magician, one that we will not be using in our new deck:

Daily Spiritual Tarot Card reading for January 14 at 6:57 p.m.

I was very busy today, so I did not get a reading done this morning. This is the energy of Now, as Now is all that exists.

Card Drawn: Four of Wands:

The phrase I have for this card is "The support of the court."

It means that you have a lot of support from friends and family. It speaks of financial security and a possible purchase of land. The keys are marriage, friendship, business partnership or any committed relationship, happiness in general.

Spiritual message:

The foundations you have laid are so solid, they see you through everything. Your belief system may not be like everyone else's but it serves you very well.

Rejoice in your happiness, you have earned it.
