This is a great energy and I was very happy to see it developing in my own life even before I drew this card today.

The energy actually suits me for the energy of the day but since this is the Spiritual reading I will stick with what it means spiritually.

This is the worry card. I was too lazy to shuffle and draw this morning so I just cut the deck.

SPIRITUAL MEANING.

Card Drawn: The Star

(Sorry I dated yesterday's reading wrong today is the 28th of January, Wednesday)

Since today I drew the Star and it has been drawn before in this thread I decided to draw two cards and melt them. Melting is a technique I invented where when you have two cards accidentally or on purpose drawn together you combine the meaning to interpret the message.

Second Card Drawn: The Dark Priestess

Wow, today it a battle between the dark and the light in full force as your higher self and the dark priestess meet on the playing field.

Against the power of the star, the dark priestess is powerless to exert her influence as long as you listen to your spiritual connection to your higher self and God and do not let her distract you or play on your guilt.

The dark priestess manipulates for her own agenda. In this melted reading, she represents you who are your own worst enemy in your quest for the higher road. The key will be learning to recognized her as she makes excuses as to why you should cater to her needs and not do what you know is the right thing.

Card Drawn: Ten of Swords



This is the "woe is me" energy.

But tens signal the death and rebirth of the spirit and signal the end of one cycle and the beginning of another. It is like the end of a story and the beginning of a new one.

This is connected at a deeper level to the ego's release of some idea to which it has been attached. You may even experience a sense of relief as one portion of your inner struggle comes to an end and you have no choice except to let go.

Empowerment: You have experienced disaster and survived. There is little left in life for you to fear now.

I could imagine that the (ten of swords) can reflect to alot of people for its definition of empowerment rings true.

I have lost my life almost twice.

Once for trying to save a whale while working for GreenPeace

and one for almost being shot to death by guerilla fighters in Congo while working for the Red Cross.

In any case I do feel I have overcome some struggles in life, including living in a foster home wondering who my mother and father is each day and finding out very late in life at the age of 29 where they live and who they are and why they didn't keep me at the time (and still don't want anything to do with me today). I am not dissappointed at all and can forgive them nevertheless. Something many can't do.

These hurdles I experienced are nothing compared to some who truly struggle each day on this world, yet nevertheless great lessons for me to reflect on and to remind many people especially here in America that they have a great life compared to others.

As long as you didn't have to see in life how Tanzanian children fight physically for a bowl of rice or a Thailand child digging at a landfill for food then just remember that your life is heaven compared to them.

Although I am aware that the (ten of swords) has a different meaning to each reader, it is for me a reflection on life, which allows me to take a big breathe and say I did it as I sit at home in a sort of semi-retirement lifestyle.
