 When your significant other says they will call but doesn't, would you be offended or upset?Also, if they don't mention "forgetting" or anything "urgent", what do you think?

I think he's occupied with something or SOMEONE else. I make it my business to make my significant other one of my priorities so I expect the same. If you say you're going to do something, do it. That way there's no room for doubt. Now, if you fall asleep or something happens, let me know. I'm less likely to be upset hearing the truth than making up scenarios in my own mind.

hmmm if they mention forgetting thats kind of the first clue they didn't forget........as for the urgent well if they forgot there is no urgent to mention.
No i don't get offended.......people have lives before they were with me and will have them while they are with me and after me. I don't expect to be the center of a mans universe as he won't be the center of mine. Now if you tell me you'll be somewhere and don't show up that's a whole other ball game |

i get really offended, if your say your gonna call me and don't call me i dun care if you made other plans with john pete and harry, at least pick up the phone and let a brotha KNOW!!!!!!!!

I think its rude. Now if they got hit by a bus or something, there's a good reason to not call.

I wouldn't be offended if my significant other doesn't call me because she might be busy with work or with her faily. However, if she doesn't call me after a couple of days, then I would be a little mad(and I find out that she is cheating on me, then I'll go crazy LOL)

Mine usually always calls when he says hes gonna...and if he doesnt I do worry. If he doesnt like, last night for instance he put his cell on the charger and was gonna call me back...and then he fell asleep. He apologized when he got up. but my baby is a sweet pea

why do most assume when he/she doesn't call that there is another person? to me that speaks to a lack of self confidence and trust in another party...maybe you shouldn't be in a realtionship you can't live for another person......

1st I would be concerned if something tragic had happened and hence he couldn't call.So if it turns out he just didn't for a good reason,no big deal.If he promised too and then he was playing around or whatever,being we were already a couple I wouldn't break it off (unless cheating on me).We would have a disscusion about how I felt and hope that would be it.
