How do you see it Ruth? Goofy minds would like to know? I think you are absolutely right. Ahhhh. I am influencing you already. I don't have the will to date women at one time, and sleep with them, and just keep it that way. That just isn't in me to do, but, as I said, I have seen people do it. Hence why I feel their is that difference. If a man and woman are bf/gf, then it will be discussed and known.

Ok. If she is your girlfriend, then you will make it exclusive with her and only her, sleep with her and only her, and do all that routine gf/bf stuff. You can have a woman as just being nothing but sex to you. I have seen it. Never done it, but have seen people who have. Yeah, yeah I know, it's like "chicken or the egg"!I'm probably just grabbing straws here, but if there's any universal difference tell me. I dated a girl for a month or so, but we never talked about being gf/bf. I guess it was too soon for that! Do you have any toiletries of hers in your bathroom right now? Toothpaste and toothbrush, perfume, makeup, face creams or cleansers? If you have a box of tampons under the sink, you are officially hooked.

So, if you were sleeping with a girl and she was not your girlfriend that means that you considered yourself and her to be able to date anyone else. Of course, that makes sense. It's been so long since I've been in the "dating world".

I prefer the term 'intimate friend' as opposed to FB or FWB. Also applies to relationship if we haven't had the discussion yet.

It was just dinner, kissing and holding hands that's it.
