I want to ask this. My dad was a great family man. Did everything for us. He committed no crime against man. He helped his fellow man every time he was asked or could. To me he never committed a sin( I think that's impossible but never witnessed him committing one). He didn't go to church and I dont know if he ever accepted Jesus as his lord and savior. Another man kills, rapes, molests ECT another human being. He confesses his sins and asks god for his forgiveness before he is put to death. Say my dad didn't, would he still got to hell and the other man to heaven? Just curious of peoples thoughts... Templter...... God rejects NO ONE. It's the other way around. Man rejects God. That is the ONLY way man is cut off from God. BUT also ,Templter.... GOD is a MERCIFUL and LOVING GOD... Who ALWAYS will first DRAW a man unto Him, when God knows that man is ready to recieve Jesus into his heart!!-!!!!! Templter..in fact, it is ONLY by God drawing a man unto Him, that a man is able to be convicted of His need for a Saviour... and thus be able to get saved in the first place!! Did you know that? Did you know that God drew your dad to him, and convicted him of his need of a Saviour? That is HOW man gets saved.... by the Holy Spirit first convicting, and then drawing man unto God !!! That is the KIND OF LOVING GOD WE SERVE!--!!! A GOD WHO GIVES MAN A CHANCE TO KNOW HIM!! And your dad , sounding like a great guy he was, most likely did not reject God, when God drew your dad unto Him. Temptler..my dad also was a great loving dad.....the BEST!!! But he never went back to church for many years(he had at an earlier time, gone to a church where he only saw religion and not true christianity back then).... and thus,would not recieve Jesus, as I shared God with him for many years ... but then one day... in the middle of a storm , I felt compelled to fly home... and did not know why I was being drawn home all of a sudden....but God knew. God knew it was time  ......
for beloved pappa to recieve Jesus... and my beloved pappa did the day after I flew home... I remember that very evening...as I led him to Christ!!!!  (happy happy happy tears)
And my pappa accepted Jesus with no fuss.... heck..I was so surprised that I even questioned if he meant it.... and he joyously said YES!!!!!   
And you know what, Templer, I SAW the change in pappa ,too, afterwards!!! He was a loving man before...but afterwards, he was almost CHRISTLIKE!!! So Temptler.......... just know....God loves us and gives us a chance to know Him. Including your dad!!! God is NOT out to just send someone to hell.... ...no no no no ..... again....God sends no one to hell.... man sends himself there by rejecting God. BUT, when God draws man unto Him ..and convicts man of his need of a saviour..... tell me..WHO will then reject God? Templter....You never know who God used to witness to your dad. God can use ministering angels. Btw, my dear atheist friend also accepted Jesus with a smile, before he died. And meant it!! I SAW the radiance on his face as he NODDED YES.... that he had recieved Jesus!!!- (happy tears) .
And to be sure, I said , "God, let me know for sure my athesit friend made it".... and I lay my head down and fell asleep....and dreamed my atheist friend was smiling at me ...and saying that he made it to the other side...and I said, "wait....I thought you were in the hospital......what are you doing up?!!" Then I woke up from the dream I just had about my atheist friend.....but the dream seemed soo real..........so I quickly called the hospital..and they told me he had gone home !!! And I realized God gave me that dream , to confirm that my friend was truly saved!! (happy tears)
Templter.....point being.... GOD IS MERCIFUL!!! AND LOVING!!! God gives every man a chance to KNOW Him...and to Be Saved!!!! Again.... God always first makes Himself known to us..... by drawing us and convicting us.... so we have a choice to either recieve Him or reject Him. And again, when God's Holy Spirit convicts a man of his need of a Saviour.... Who will then reject God? I didn't reject God, when God drew me? Would you? Would your dad? I think not. Cause you see, when God draws us, there is Love felt... there is conviction too... but always the Love of God...right there... drawing us unto Him....ever so loving and tenderly.
Templter...God would have no one to perish. Not one. Cause.....God is a God of LOVE !!!

What I see is a bunch of racists coming in here for no other reason then to insult and bash Christianity.You don't believe me check out the topics in this section.How much of it is just negative attacks on Christianity and no other religion.You better believe I judge.I am not going to sit here and listen to the onslaught of hate filled anti-Christian posts while you sit behind on your computer saying "I don't hate,I don't judge,I don't put people down,I don't think Christians are a bunch of crazed brainwashed lunatics that want to kill everyone in the world.As soon as you figure out someone is a Christian they are suddenly some stupid,crazy,shallow minded puppet.

Morning song's character has never been in question. Shes a wonderful lady. I dont make these stupid arguments over religion personal.
However when people ask questions and they are skirted or never directly answered, it can become a little frustrating. I think that was the point made by several posters on thread. |

Personally I would have found this thread more enlightening if it had been a discussion about becoming saved, rather than a thread debating if Christianity is the one true religion. If you want to discuss becoming saved it would be more productive to post that in the Christianity forum.
That would be preaching to the choir. So dont get offended or miffed when we ask questions. You clearly have a Christian forum that you can set your browser to so that you do not view GR at tall. |

What? Now you are accusing non-believers of being racists? That is probably a stupid and hurtful remark that rises to the level of being reported to admin by the way. I wont do it but just a friendly admonishment. You probably should look up the definition of the term "racist" while you are at it.

Thomas...I opened my heart up with a real question about real life and you seem to have ignored it it. Who's on here just to argue? Maybe you need to really look at yourself and the hatred you have have for people who dont share your beleifs. I like my dad do not attend a church but try my best to live a life I think gods wants me to. I question everything so that I have better knowledge of everything. That doesn't mean I am bashing Christianity or any other religion. I dont think god wants us to push our beleifs onto others but to accept him unconditionally. Have I done that? In my own way I have. Does that make me a sinner? I certainly would hope not in the eyes of god. Thanks MS for the response and you have made me feel a lot better.

Thomas says "You better believe I judge"...To me that is a sin against god! He is the only one to judge and I beleive but may be wrong that is in the bible you so dearly defend. I love all people no matter what they beleive or do. That is why I strongly defend anyones rights and "YES" that includes people who you think are sinners...
